- Video game executive and Online Game expert, with a deep understanding of game development, social networks, and virtual item sales via micro-transaction business model. Developer by trade, Thomas has over 16 years of experience at leading game publishers including Origin Systems, EA (Wing Commander) and Square Enix (Final Fantasy) Most recently, he has contributed to the explosive growth of the Free to Play Online Games Market in the US as the Business Development Manager at Nexon America (MapleStory) where he managed payment gateways and relations with major retailers such as Target, Duane Reade, 7-Eleven, Rite Aid, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, CVS and drove adoption and sales of Nexon Prepaid Cards.
Thomas is a founding member of International Game Developers Association, Korea Chapter and he has served on several advisory boards. He’s been invited to speak at many industry events, including Korean Game Developers Conference (2003, 2004), G-Star (2006), Asia Pacific Entertainment & Media Summit (2007), InComm Partner Alliance (2008), and The Digital Hollywood Spring (2008), and LOGIN 2009.
Thomas is currently heading up business development at Gamepot USA, a division of Gamepot, the leading online game publisher in Japan. Gamepot and Gamepot USA are wholly owned subsidiary of So-net Entertainment Corporation, formerly "Sony Communication Network Inc."
